Camino de Santiago 2009

On the 2nd of May 2009, I started the Camino de Santiago in Spain. A ~800km long pilgrimage route from the town of St Jean Pied-de-Port in France to the tip of Spain, in Galicia, the town of Santiago de Compostela.
The experience was indescribable, an amazing adventure and human experience with open-hearted people.
As it was my first walk, I wanted to experience it fully and spiritually. Therefore I have not taken as many photos as I could.
On the other hand, another trip again to Santiago is being prepared in 2010 with a big photo-project in mind. Stay tuned for more details whenever I finalize it.
You will see a new section in the Gallery called "Camino de Santiago". Although mainly landscape pictures, I felt that it needed a section of its own.
Hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did taking them.
