This shot was taken during a cold overcast winter day, in one of my favorite gardens in Paris: The ‘Jardin de Luxembourg’. I’ll add a poem I found on the internet that in my opinion completes the image.
To him no vain regrets belong
Whose soul, that finer instrument,
Gave to the world no poor lament,
But wood-notes ever sweet and strong.
O lonely friend! he still will be
A potent presence, though unseen,
Steadfast, sagacious, and serene;
Seek not for him — he is with thee.”
~ Louisa May Alcott ~
I liked the warm colors contrasting with the cold weather, with gray clouds rolling over this lonely statue in the almost empty park.

Things I like today:
The sight of Loy Krathong decorations
The smell of lingering perfume
The sound of awful cover bands
The taste of hot chocolate
The feel of delicate hands rubbing my neck
