Visually impaired band ~ Thailand

A band of visually impaired musicians in Chiang Mai

Anyone who has ever been to Chiang Mai during the Saturday or Sunday market probably has seen this band of visually impaired musicians playing in the middle of the street. They use many kind of instruments from guitars, kazoos, harmonicas, cymbals to drums made of empty buckets. They are actually pretty amazing and always a center of attention when they start playing Thai songs.

I was wandering around the market earlier than usual, catching the evening sun. It amused me to see the huge parasol placed in front of them to avoid the heat.
